Directions
By Land:
From the North (traveling south on Rt. 5 towards Leonardtown)
- Before you reach the town of Leonardtown, turn right onto Route 242 (Colton Point Rd)
- Continue on Route 242 through the flashing light at Clements to Route 470 (Oakley Rd)
- Turn left onto Oakley Rd and travel 2.1 miles to Burch Rd
- Turn left onto Burch Rd and travel 1 mile to Colton's Shipping Point Farm
From the South (traveling north on Rt. 5 through Leonardtown)
- Turn left onto Rt. 234 (Budds Creek Rd)
- Turn left at flashing light at Clements onto Rt. 242 (Colton Point Rd)
- Travel 1.9 miles and turn left onto Rt. 470 (Oakley Rd)
- Travel 2.1 miles and turn left onto Burch Rd
- Travel 1 mile to Colton's Shipping Point Farm
By Water:
Potomac River from the north or south to St. Clement Bay
- Travel north northeast past St. Clements Island (Blackiston Island)
- Come up St. Clement Bay 3 miles past Long Point to Shipping Point (Green Buoy #3)
- Follow the shoreline northwest toward Deep Creek
- Stop at the first pier
